May 2013 - Master-Plan for 3 Cities in Central Asia - World Bank
Together with our partner AGEG Consultants, Germany, RRP International will start the elaboration of the Master-Plan for all healthcare facilities for 3 selected cities in Central Asia.
The official kick-off meetings took place in the last week of May in Bishkek. The Master-Plan will be elaborated within 3 months, inclusive data collection of 49 healthcare institutions in Osh, Batken and Jalalabad. Local partner is AVANCO Consulting.
May 2013 - Non Healthcare Projects in Germany
Beside our main focus on healthcare related projects, RRP International takes care of some selected special projects. In May 2013, RRP International started to work on large complex building projects in Hamburg and Berlin, Germany.
April 2013 - Singapore Office Renovation
Continuing growth and expansion requested a better office infrastructure. RRP International has planned and supervised all works, interior design by Lillian Lim. We welcome all our clients to our new office in Singapore!
April 2013 - Nomination for the UIA Work Program Public Health
The German UIA member section Federal Chamber of German Architects BAK - BUNDESARCHITEKTENKAMMER - renewed the nominatoin of Dr. Peter Pawlik - Chairman of AKG Association of Healthcare Architects of the Society of German Architects AKG/BDA - and Dipl.-Ing. Henning Lensch - CEO RRP International - as official members in the UIA Work Program Public Health.
The work of the group started with the 1st International Public Health Seminar (IPHS) 1957 at the Hospital Cantonal, Geneva, with 62 participants from 27 countries. The seminar was considered as a matter of vital demand and usefulness to be continued and strengthened. T
Since its foundation, a decisive factor in the work of the Group has been the continuous dialogue and close collaboration with the leading international organizations of health and hospital care.
In the foreground of the collaboration of the Public Health Group with the International Hospital Federation are the International Hospital Congresses and the IHF-Pan Regional Congresses. Events of professional contacts are also the IHF Study Tours of Hospitals in which PHG-members frequently participate.
February 2013 - First Saudi Forum for Planning and Design of Hospitals
Mr. Henning Lensch, CEO of RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, is invited to give the following lecture on:
"Hospital Building and Planning Standards - AIA, NHS, DIN. What are the differences and future trend for the harmonization of codes and accreditations?"
The conference with international participation will take place from the 3rd to 5th of March 2013 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
December 2012 - IVCD Laboratory Trinidad & Tobago
The construction of the state-of-the-art laboratory building is coming to an end! The IVCD laboratory in Trinidad & Tobago shall serve mainly the fight against Malaria, Dengue Fever and other tropical diseases. Together with our partner PPL, RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd could win the public tender for the planning and construction of this new state-of-the-art laboratory building where the construction started in May 2012. RRP International provided planning and site supervision services.
September 2012 - RCH University Hospital Chisinau
Mr. Henning Lensch, CEO of RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, has visited the ongoing major project for the new extension building with 16 new OTs and 64 modern ICU beds in September and October 2012. Together with EPOS Health Management / RRP Architects+Engineers / OMBA, the State of Moldova supported by WORLDBANK, implements a state-of-the-art center for operation and intensive care.
July 2012 - RRP International Awarded By World Health Organization (WHO)
RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd awarded by WHO for the development of hospital planning guidelines in Sudan. The guidelines shall ensure the proper and correct building infrastructure for existing and future hospital buildings in the whole country. With this new engagement, RRP International is further expanding activities in Africa, where projects in Nigeria, Libya, Ethiopia and Senegal have been developed and executed since 2006.
June 2012 - Hospital Assessment in Pakistan
RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd has executed a review and assessment of ongoing hospital construction projects. During this assessment, the capital Islamabad has been visited as well as the Kashmir region.
With this review, our activities in the Asian region could be further extended. Since 2004, RRP International has several hospital and laboratory projects in India, Takjistan, Kazakhstan and given lectures in Universities in Iran.
June 2012 - World Class Cardiac Hospital, UK NHS Standards
RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd has been awarded for the medical planning for a state-of-the-art specialized hospital in the Middle East.
Here, RRP International is elaborating world-class hospital design in accordance with UK NHS requirements and standards especially for cardiac care - OT, Cath lab, CCIU and related services.
The scope of services for RRP International covers architectural health planning, medical equipment, kitchen and laundry services.
May 2012 - Feasibility Study for a Specialized State-of-the-Art Hospital in Libya
RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd has been awarded for a Feasibility Study for a Specialized Hospital in Libya.
The Feasibility Study could be successfully delivered after only one month, inclusive concept design, cost estimations and the project schedule.
May 2012 - Start of Construction - IVCD Laboratory in Trinidad & Tobago
The construction of the state-of-the-art laboratory building begins! After intensive planning and consultation, also with the Bernard-Nocht-Institute in Hamburg, Germany, the construction workers are proceeding with the ground works and foundations. RRP International provides planning and site supervision services.
April 2012 - Healing Environment, Hospital Build Europe, Speech in Berlin
Mr. Henning Lensch, CEO of RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, and Mr. Christof Maaßen, CEO of General Hospital in Landsberg am Lech, Germany, gave a speech about "Healing Environment - the connection between health and building". The lecture showed the hospital building in Landsberg am Lech, where Mr. Lensch as the architect renovated and extended the existing building over the last 12 years. Mr. Christof Maaßen as the CEO represented the hospital management and end-users. Landsberg am Lech as a 300-beds hospital is a good example for a typical general hospital undergoing renovation after more than 30 years of operation, in 5 phases, financed by the Government of Bavaria with about 75 Mio Euros. Despite the challenging conditions, an atmosphere of healing environment could be created and further maintained.
February 2012 - Foreign Ministry Germany, Speech in Berlin
Mr. Henning Lensch, CEO of RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, is invited to give a speech about the ongoing projects in Africa on the 9th of February 2012. Mr. Lensch will present the state-of-the-art hospital in Uyo, Nigeria and talk about his experiences during the St. Mary Hospital Project for the GIZ. The opening speech will be given by the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Guido Westerwelle.
November 2011 - RRP International Awarded for a State-of-the-Art Laboratory

November 2011 - Healing Architecture, Speech in Berlin
Prof. Nickl-Weller, University of Berlin, Germany, has invited several experts to the conference “Healing Architecture – as a keynote of foreign health economies” in the Federal Ministry Health, Berlin, Germany.
Mr. Henning Lensch, CEO of RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, presented his paper:
“Potentials of scientifically founded hospital planning – Evidence Based Design and the development of scientific methods”.
With examples from his recent works, RRP International is constantly trying to elaborate more scientific facts for Evidence Based Design database centers, to further enhance the better working conditions for staff and to improve the environment of the patients.
For RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd, the healing environment plays a central role in our projects. The well-being of patients and staff is of major human and economic consideration and a key element of good and appropriate Healthcare Architecture.
