In January 2000, Henning Lensch started to work for RRP, Rappmannsberger Rehle + Partner, founded 1962, as a Project Architect, since 2001 as Project Manager for several German Hospitals.
Rappmannsberger, Rehle + Partner is one of the leading architecture offices for healthcare projects in Germany. Since 1962, many hospitals have been planned and realized mainly in Bavaria, Germany.
Since 2003, Henning Lensch is introducing international hospital and healthcare projects, beginning in India and the UAE. Since 2004, the international projects are expanding to Asia (Indonesia, Singapore) and Africa (Ethiopia), both for public and private as well as donor-funded projects (KfW, Worldbank).
Henning Lensch became a partner of RRP architekten+ingenieure GbR in 2005, further building up the international markets in Southeast Asia, Nigeria, Bahrain, Qatar and Libya.
End of 2011, RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd was founded to serve only the international markets, with the strategic location in Singapore. Currently, RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd is working in healthcare projects in several countries like Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Trinidad & Tobago, Moldova, Indonesia and Libya. With a core staff of more than 25 employees, we are providing all services starting from feasibility studies up to site supervision for all kind of healthcare related projects.
In 2015, RRP International Hospital Planners Ptd Ltd is planning and supervising state-of-the-art healthcare facilities for acture care, perinatal care, trauma centers, laboratory, specialized imaging and diagnostics, psychiatric and palliativ care as well as rehabilitation and outpatient services. The total building volume currently planned and supervised by RRP International is exceeding one billion USD. Main focus is on Mother+Child, Psychiatric+Palliative, Acute+General Care projects as well as laboratory planning.
In 2016, RRP International Hospital Planners Pte Ltd is planning and supervising hospital projects with more than 2500 beds in 8 countries on 4 continents.
In 2017, RRP International had two kick-off events for the construction of major health care facilities alone in Asia: Bishkek National Perinatal Centre and Lahore Hospital. In Africa, RRP International continues the succesful collaboration with WHO. Designs for Kenya, Zambia and Nigeria have been elaborated and consultation for tendering provided.
In 2018, RRP International has extended their actual projects to University Hospitals and Cancer Treatment Facilities. New engagements in Southeast-Asia, South-America, Middle East (KSA) as well as in Europe have started in parallel to the ongoing projects under planning or under construction.
2019 was an important year for RRP International with the inauguration of Lahore Evercare hospital. This frist LEED Gold hospital in Pakistan is setting a new standard for affordable healthcare in the Emerging Countries in terms of low investments costs, quick realisation, healing environment and LEED Gold accreditation. Further to this milestone, RRP International has expended further into University Hospitals, Oncology Centres, private state-of-the-art European hospitals and ongoing projects under construction in Asia, Central Asia and Africa.
